The Mexican Guidelines on Urticaria

Abstract

On behalf of the expert panel and the founding societies of the international EAACI/GA²LEN/EDF/WAO guidelines on urticaria, we wish to congratulate you on the completion of the Mexican guidelines for urticaria. This document is a milestone for the improvement of urticaria management in Mexico, as it is based on evidence profiles developed during the generation of several position papers, practice parameters and the EAACI/GA²LEN/ EDF/WAO guidelines. Using this information as the basis, the authors have done independent research and have considered factors that are specific for the management of urticaria in Mexico. This has resulted in the very practical, but at the same time evidence-based recommendations that have now been included in the Mexican guidelines.
